The Graphic Designer
The founder of Lane Design, Chris Lane, has been a freelance graphic designer for the past 7 years with expert skill in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and others). There is no task that is too big, or an idea that is too small. Some of his favorite projects have been times where a customer says "this is what I want, I have no idea if it's even possible, can you help?" Immediately a partnership is created where you act as the originator & editor, while Lane takes on the role of designer & magician.
Chris holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland with a background in psychology and theater - using elements of all three to inspire the creative solutions and unique intricacies behind each design. Contact him for website designs, print design, or advice on how to market your endeavor effectively.
The Music Designer
When Chris Lane was in diapers he got bit by a sound bug. The venom soon led him to pick up a tenor saxophone, a set of drums, and eventually his laptop becoming a sound designer, professional DJ and music producer. The baby that once dreamed so big, now has a dedication to helping others achieve their musical dreams.
Chris Lane has relocated from Washington DC and now resides in Atlanta where he and his associates are known to have an uncanny ear for detail. They are perfectionists and only settling for phenomenal. Not only does Lane Design have the equipment and talent to create radio ready music, unforgettable soundscapes for theatre and gripping scores for films, but also the empathy to go along with it - a deep connection with every vibration that enters the eardrum. The Education Designer
Chris Lane has been teaching and mentoring
to all ages for several years. He began his teaching work at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC where he was often an actor, teaching artist, and audio/visual event manager for various Smithsonian programs. After moving to Atlanta, he now spends time with Alliance Theatre's teaching artist division working with middle school, high school students and adults.
You may also see him training the summer business program staff at his alma mater, University of Maryland College Park, where he still finds unique ways to incorporate theatre, business and music to teach and influence.
